Our annual Easter Workshop for the Parish of Teme Valley North was this year held at Knighton. The event was well supported with 50+ parents, carers and children in attendance, filling the Parish Room.
Many crafts were on offer for the children to try, including egg painting, Easter baskets, Cross weaving and mosaics, Easter cards, paper flowers and chains, Easter Gardens, Easter story wheels and stained effect window hanging decorations. The children also tried their hands at chocolate egg making and decorating.
After a busy morning of crafts we gathered for a procession to St Michael’s Church, Knighton-on-Teme in glorious sunshine, for a service of Stations of the Cross for children.
Many thanks to Sheila and Ann for serving up delicious refreshments, to Janet Farmer and Betty who came along to help the children make their chocolate Easter Eggs, A big thank you also to all involved helping on the various craft tables during the morning, making this event so successful.
