Chepstow Male Voice Choir at St Lawrence

There was a capacity audience at St Lawrence Lindridge on 10 May to hear Chepstow Male Voice Choir. They sang in Welsh and in English, traditional and modern songs, ensemble and solo pieces. And there were some very funny jokes thrown in for good measure! The excellent performance of the choir, their musical director, accompanist and conductors was outstanding and the audience was enthusiastic with their applause.

And just to complete the evening, a delicious supper was served to choir and audience in a massive marquee on the lawn of The Priory. Having eaten, the choir entertained us once again, ending with the Welsh National Anthem, before their coach took them back to Chepstow.

Lindridge Church Committee thanks Ian Dowling of The Talbot at Newnham Bridge for sponsorship, Bill and Boo Andrewes for so generously hosting supper and all who were involved in organising such an enjoyable and successful evening.
