St Lawrence Club, Summer Term

This weekly lunchtime club is held at Lindridge St Lawrence School.

During the first half of the summer term we heard the story The Road to Emmaus. We enjoyed playing a miming game as we considered how we recognise people by their actions, and were reminded how the two disciples who travelled to Emmaus recognised Jesus by his familiar action of giving thanks and breaking the bread.

We heard the Parable The Mustard Seed and after decorating pots we planted our own Gladioli bulbs to care for and watch grow. The children made ‘flutter-by butterflies’ in celebration of spring and new life. In addition the children have enjoyed singing and dancing, which is always a great favourite!

We look forward to meeting again after the half term break.
