The Olympics

Teme Valley North Parish joined forces with Tenbury Team Ministry for Holiday Club 2012 which ran from 23rd to 25th July.   It was a great success, taking on the theme of the Olympics, each morning having it’s own special theme, to Aspire, Prepare and Succeed.

The mornings got under way with an opening activity of Banner making which was followed by story telling and worship.

The children were busy preparing Union Jacks, Flags of the World, Medals, Wavers and Shakers, they decorated plant pots and planted seeds and tried their hands at cookery which was a firm favourite with all.

Rehearsals got under way for our presentation of  “Teme Valley’s Got Talent” which included piano playing, singing, comedy sketches, dance, drama and sport.   The children prepared invitations for family and friends to attend and helped produce a Programme for this special event.

The children put on a fantastic show which concluded this year’s holiday club.

Grateful thanks to all volunteers who helped make the club so successful.
