The Parish of Teme Valley North’s Annual Easter Workshop on 18th April was this year held at Lindridge School. The event was well supported with 30+ parents, carers and children in attendance.
Many craft activities were on offer for the children to try, including Daffodil Windmills, Holy Week stained glass effect decorations, Easter Baskets, chicks, gift boxes, cards and egg painting. Janet Farmer came along to help children make and decorate chocolate Easter Eggs.
After a busy morning of crafts we gathered for a procession to St Lawrence Church. We moved around the church as our Easter Story unfolded, when the children had an opportunity to make their own Easter Gardens and weave Crosses. The whole congregation were invited to light a candle to reflect and pray.
As we reflect this year on the 100th anniversary of the First World War, we were each presented with a special packet of poppy seeds to sow, care for, and watch grow.
A big thank you to all who came along to help on one of the many craft tables, and to Sheila and Ann once again for serving refreshments.
