The Parish of Teme Valley North’s Annual Easter Craft Workshop was held on 3rd April at Lindridge School, with around 30 children, parents, carers and volunteer helpers in attendance.
Many crafts were on offer for all to try, including Cross stained glass effect hanging decorations, Palm Leaf Weaving, Cross mosaics, Easter Gardens, Chocolate Egg making and decorating, Egg painting, Easter Baskets and cards, flowers, and seasonal face painting.
After a busy morning of crafts we gathered for a procession to St Lawrence Church. The children took their wonderful artwork into church which was displayed around the Font during the service.
We heard the story of Good Friday with an Easter Drama performed by a group of children who acted out the events that unfolded 2000 years ago.
After prayers the whole congregation were invited to light candles as a response to Christ’s sacrifice.
Special thanks to all involved in the crafts, refreshments and service, making the day such a huge success.
