It only takes a few minutes to write a card or a letter, but those minutes can make all the difference to someone whose rights are being abused. Amnesty International’s Write for Rights is the world’s biggest letter-writing event. Whether we send a card, photo or drawing expressing solidarity with a prisoner of conscience or a letter appealing to the authorities to stop the abuse, a message from us can change someone’s life.
After the 9.30am service at St Lawrence Lindridge on Sunday 1 December we will be offering the opportunity to learn more about the campaign and, for those who would like to participate, the chance to send a message of support.
